There have been several instances where a very few individuals posted comments to the forums on this web site that, in my judgement, have been inappropriate. I am the administrator of what gets posted on these forum and will use the following rules in making a decision whether a post is included in the forums or not.

Here are these rules:

  1. All discussions must apply to the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
  2. No flaming of any person that have posted comments to this forum or any other forum on this web site will be allowed.
  3. All posts must be kept at a civilized, polite level.
  4. No misleading or offensive posts will be allowed.
  5. No profanity or any other offensive language will be allowed .

I hope these rules clear things up. Thank you for your kind attention.

Dear Sir, I'm completely computer illiterate, but will try to follow your rules. What is flaming? If I reply to a reply to a post, does it go to the person who replied to the original post or is just contained within this format? You have my email address, please feel free to use it. Thenk you Coral

Flaming is the use of abusive language or personal attacks in the forum. Just use the same language you would use with friends but with no insults or use of off-color language. In other words, BE POLITE.

If you reply to a post, your post goes on the forum after I have reviewed it to make sure it is connected in some way with the Battle of Leyte Gulf and is not flaming another participant. I also do not allow any commercial advertising.

I hope this response answers your questions.

Ken Friedman
